Meet London, our namesake and the inspiration behind London’s Mission.
London was born in 2017 and abandoned on the side of the road by her birth mother. Thankfully, a passing traveler found her and brought her to a local shelter. She was then fostered for a month by a local senior citizen before being rescued by our founder, Tye Lambert.
Inspired by his love for London and animals across the country, Tye brought together a group of veterans with experience in clinical research to create an organization focused on an area where he saw an urgent need: veterinary care and the development of new medicines and treatments for our furry companions.
Through the combined efforts of London’s Mission, our volunteers, supporters, and contributors, we hope to improve outcomes, reduce the cost of treatment, and extend both the lifespan and quality of care for animals.
Because every animal deserves a chance – and because we all deserve more time with the ones we love.
London’s Mission exists to accelerate the future of animal health by offering free, expert consulting to veterinary pharmaceutical companies developing new treatments for dogs and cats. We believe that groundbreaking science should never be held back by cost. By removing financial barriers to expert guidance, we help companies lower the cost of innovation, uncover novel treatments faster, and bring life-changing medicines to the animals who need them most.
Our work is driven by a simple belief: animals deserve the same urgency, care, and advocacy in medicine that we demand for ourselves. Every study we support, every partnership we build, and every treatment we help advance is a step toward a future where animal welfare is not an afterthought, but a priority — for the pets who depend on us, and the owners who love them.
